About the Program
Professional Skill Development initiative for young Indians. An Education Resource Centre to meet the changing academic and pedagogical requirements. On the skill development front our Training Centre, better known as ERMPL Training Centre, was among the first short-term employment linked training programs in India. A 21-days training program on Core Employability Domain Skills like Banking & Finance Management & Pharmaceuticals Management, communicative English, digital literacy, and aptitude ensures that there is a significant skill shift among trainees. Trainees are provided with placement opportunities after the training.
Job Responsibilities
- You will be the “face” of the company for all visitors.
- Finding placement opportunities for students.
- Relationships with students to discover skills and preferences.
- Liaising with students and employers during placements.
- Fostering relationships with local placement providers.
- Negotiating terms of placements with providers.
- Providing information and documentation about placements to students.
- To have close liaison with industry for the placement of students. ·
- To work in consultation with coordinator Industry –Institute interaction for organizing lectures from the professionals and industry.
- To collect feedback from the companies coming for placement.
- Arrange training program for soft skills and for interview facing skills for the students using institutional and external expertise.
- Common job duties seen on a Placement Officer example resume are providing career counseling services, searching for job opportunities, assessing candidate background, conducting interviews, assisting with resume writing, and offering tips to succeed at interviews.
Requirements & Skills
- Familiarity with Computer, especially Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Strong communication and people skills
- Answer multi-line phone system, screen and route calls as appropriate
- Customer service orientation & Problem-solving skills
- Fast learning ability with Strong Attention to Detail
- Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
- Design communication material (videos, photographs, posters, etc.) in accordance with brand identity and creating engaging posts to
- increase the social media presence.
- An understanding of social media channels and campaigns
- Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Google Analytics
